Adults Dance Classes

We offer chair dance, pole dance and floorplay dance classes for beginners.  Our classes are for women who want to make new friends, have fun with dance, be in a judgement free space in a class where expression is celebrated.

Chair Dance

A dance routine using both the floor and a chair. Beginner chair tricks will be taught with progressions and regressions to suit all levels of experience and ability. Complete beginners welcome! 

Pole Dance

A dance routine using both the floor and the pole. Beginners Pole Tricks will be used in the choreography although this class focuses on transition and flow including some beginners pole basework tricks. Pole Beginners welcome but some pole experience is required. 

Floorplay Dance

A dance routine just using the floor! Beginnes floorwork tricks and acro will be taught progressions and regressions to suit all levels of experience and ability. Kneepads are a must. Complete beginners welcome! 

Classical Ballet

Learn the foundations of ballet in a relaxed setting. This class is for adults who are still dreaming of being ballerinas. Complete beginners or returning to ballet later in life students will benefit most from these classes. 

LYRA (AERIAL Hoop)

What is Lyra? 


The lyra otherwise known as an aerial hoop is a circular steel apparatus suspended from the ceiling. Lyra is an aerial sport and a circus sport in which a person can perform aerial acrobatics and dance from inside, above or below the hoop.

Lyra, just like pole, embraces all types of movement and dance expression making it accessible to people who don’t come from a circus background.

Lyra is a full body workout and a great strength building workout as it requires different types of grip, core stability and endurance.


Our studio currently offers 4 aerial rigging points with lyra's at different heights so you don't have to worry about being up in our high hoops when you're first getting started. Our Yeppoon studio offers air-conditioning to keep you comfortable and make your lyra journey here in Yeppoon the best it can be. 

Aerial Silks

What is Silks? 


The lyra otherwise known as an aerial hoop is a circular steel apparatus suspended from the ceiling. Lyra is an aerial sport and a circus sport in which a person can perform aerial acrobatics and dance from inside, above or below the hoop.

Silks, just like pole and lyra, embraces all types of movement and dance expression making it accessible to people who don’t come from a circus background.

Silks is a full body workout and a great strength building workout as it requires different types of grip, core stability and endurance.


Our studio currently offers 2 aerial rigging points with silks's at different 3.5m heights.. Our Yeppoon studio offers air-conditioning to keep you comfortable and make your silks journey here in Yeppoon the best it can be. 

Pole

What is Pole? 


Pole is a vertical metal apparatus mounted between the floor and the ceiling. Here at Namaste Pole Boutique our poles are Brass which are excellent for grip. 

Pole is an exotic, aerial and circus sport in which a person can perform aerial acrobatics and dance from any height on the pole as well as around the base of the pole.

Pole embraces all types of movement and dance expression making it accessible to people who don’t come from a circus background.

Pole is a full body workout and a great strength building workout as it requires different types of grip, core stability and endurance.

Aerial Yoga

What is Aerial Yoga? 


Aerial Yoga is practiced in and around an aerial hammock - a silky and soft material suspended from the ceiling. The hammock is used as an aid to assist with a variety of yoga poses, encouraging relaxation as well as assisting with deeper stretches.

Aerial Yoga is a full body workout and a great flexibility building workout as it requires different types of balance, core stability and coordination.
